Golden Oriole Group
The Golden Oriole Group (GOG) was formed in 1986 by interested observers of the birds at the then Bryant and May poplar plantation at Lakenheath, Suffolk. They monitor the birds' fortunes, work to maintain the population, and monitors the East Anglian Fen Basin population in detail. Work has been undertaken on habitat, diet, breeding biology, behaviour and ringing.

Lee Valley Park

Lincolnshire Naturalists' Union
The LNU is the only amateur Natural History Society covering the whole of Lincolnshire. Members study, record, hold meetings, supply information, publish books, exhibit, discuss and learn, and welcomes new members. On this website are details of the Union and its' events and publications.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust
This is one of the best Wildlife Trust sites, with everything the visitor could want to know about the Trust and its' work. The site guide covers all of their reserves with detailed features on the principal ones (including Gibraltar Point and Far Ings).

RSPB Lowestoft & District Local Group
The group was formed in 1976 and is run by a committee of local members. Monthly indoor meetings consist of illustrated talks on bird watching as well as a wide variety of wildlife related subjects both in the UK and world wide. There are also monthly field trips, locally and further afield. All are suitable for the expert as well as the beginner.

Maple Lodge
